A little background and why I have written soup like so…. “soup”. I remember when I arrived in England some years back now and one day my big sister, who has been living here for a while said to me, would you like some soup Aijay? And I said, oh yes please. And she came up to me with a bowl of watery, light and drinkable stuff. And I was like, that is soup? And she said yeah! Here soup is a different ball game bebe!
Evening lovers, today brings a Nigerian classic to the world of freeflow foodies. Since my pregnancy I have seriously been craving (with a big C) food from my country and we happened to discover that there is a shop just 5 mins from our flat that does just that. This guy sells everything, Indian food, Chinese food, African food and most especially Nigerian food! Ben and I were like wah!!!!! So let’s just say I’m a super happy bunny right now. Today I am excited, the sun is out here in Southampton and I’m feeling goooood. Just wanted to share yesterday nights project with you quickly before I go to brush my teeth and eat..gosh I’m hungry!.
Ok, so I am going to a Sacred woman’s workshop today at my teacher’s place so I made a sacred cake for the Sacred women with some sacred bananas as a base. Have a wee peak 😉 for now and as I shall post the recipe later.

In the spirit of all things spicy fuelled from the fact that I still have apples in my kitchen, this crazy idea was inevitable when I had a friend over for dinner and found myself staring at these juicy ladies. It turned out to be a complete hit with my cheesecake lover friend and he even went as far as putting this one on the list of top 2 favourite cheesecake….still couldn’t make up his mind which was number one but first two in his whole 39 yrs is FAB enough for me :-).
